General
A: SimVIS TruVIEW is a specialized visual system designed, supplied, and installed by SimVIS for Flight Training Devices (FTD) Level 5, Flight Navigation Procedure Trainers II (FNTP-II), as well as entertainment and training simulators.
‘TruVIEW’ system is a “Front Projected” (non-collimated) system. The system provides a cost-effective solution that delivers high-fidelity, immersive visual environments essential for advanced pilot training and simulation. By integrating custom built curverd screens, high-quality imagery and accurate warp/blending, SimVIS TruVIEW enhances situational awareness and procedural training effectiveness, ensuring simulators meet stringent regulatory standards while optimizing operational performance. This tailored approach allows training centers and operators to achieve superior realism and reliability in their simulation programs.
A: The cost of a TruVIEW Visual System from SimVIS TruVIEW varies depending on the specific requirements and complexity of the installation, such as whether it is for FTD Level 5, FNTP-II, entertainment, or training simulators. SimVIS specializes in designing, supplying, and installing cost-effective, customized visual systems tailored to each client's unique simulator needs. To provide an accurate quote, factors like the diameter and FOV of the system, display technology, integration options, and any additional features are carefully considered. Prospective clients are encouraged to contact SimVIS TruVIEW directly to discuss their exact needs and receive a detailed, personalized cost estimate.
A: You can experience a SimVIS System firsthand by visiting one of the authorized training centers or simulation facilities that have integrated our visual systems into their FTD Level 5, FNTP-II, or entertainment simulators. SimVIS partners with leading simulation providers worldwide, so to arrange an in-person demonstration, we recommend contacting SimVIS TruVIEW directly. Our team can guide you to the closest location where you can see our cost-effective visual system in operation, allowing you to assess its performance, image quality, and seamless integration within professional training or entertainment environments.Details can be provided on request. In the meantime, a large range of examples can be seen here:http://www.simvis.com.au/gallery
A: There maybe many reasons why a visual system does not look correct or perform properly.Incorrect screen design/dimensions, incorrect projector specifications, poor warp and blend techniques...The most common is obvious blending overlaps and misaglined horizon when banking or pitching up/down.Distorted side views and stretched views are also common.SimVIS TruView techniques will NEVER produce misalignments and distortions, incorrect horizon matchingand poor blending. Our specialists can assist with system diagnostics, calibration adjustments, and recommend any necessary hardware or software updates to optimize performance. Proper integration and fine-tuning are essential to achieving the cost-effective, high-quality visual experience SimVIS is known for.
